70.000 Tons of Metal von Hollis Bennett

Someone thought it would be a great idea to charter a cruise ship from Miami to Mexico and back, fill it with MetalHeads from around the world, invite 42 of the best bands on the planet and stock the boat with as much beer as possible.

Hollis Bennett, den ich im Rahmen der Bonneville Speed Week schon mal hier hatte, hat mich per Mail auf seine letzte Photoserie aufmerksam gemacht: 70.000 Tons of Metal, eine Kreuzfahrt für Metalfans – quasi das absolute Gegenstück zu Aida und dergleichen. Sieht nach ziemlich viel Spaß aus, oder um es mit seinen Worten zu sagen: “There is nothing like sitting in a hot tub with Sabaton listening to Iced Earth destroy the stage and drinking buckets of coronas. Good times.” Hach ja…
