Jeriko: Hi Kim, to start things off, please introduce yourself in a few sentences.
My name is Kim Høltermand. I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1977. I am currently working freelance as a photographer – mainly in the field of architecture photography.
Jeriko: When did you start taking pictures?
I started taking professional pictures about 1½ years ago.
Jeriko: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I get alot of inspiration from the world around me. When i face a building – a project – I envision the theme of the series I am about to create. Some of my inspairation comes from books, magazines, blogs, movies, pictures anything that evokes my creative sense.

Jeriko: You’ve obviously got your website and there’s your Behance profile. Any other presence on the web you’d like to publicize? Social networking?
Yes. I have a profile on KROP and CARGO COLLECTIVE. Other than that I am featured at endless blogs around the world – some with info and gallery featuring my work.
Jeriko: As you use the Internet to showcase your photos, are there any other websites you feel have influenced you, opened your mind or shown you new ways or techniques?
I must say that getting my work on Behance.net really slingshot my right out into the audience – it has been one of the most important moves in getting my name out into the public.

Jeriko: Of all the pictures you’ve taken, or at least the ones showcased on your website, can you name a couple or one that you have a special love for or connection to?
My “Nightlines” is one of my favorites – it’s so simple yet it sucks you right in. There’s something in that series that draws people to it.
Jeriko: Do you have any specific plans for the future direction of your artwork?
I hope that the future will bring me to even more desolate and beatiful places – and I will strive to make even more haunting, eerie and eyesmacking work for all of you out there to enjoy.

Jeriko: Thanks a lot for the interview. Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Always a pleasure!
Jeriko: Last but not least, do you have a question for my next interview partner?
Describe your working space?
: )
