Why when I write a new post, don’t show in the main screen the image NEW, like it’s suppost to do? I have no idea about what’s going on…
I like it alot. Doesn’t work very well using ie, but who cares? :) . Gravatar support would be sweet.
By the way – damn, this commentsection is cool. I can see the comment getting written in realtime…
@Evilasio: It depends on the time settings on your server and the date you’ve set for the newest post. If the difference between the two is smaller than 24h, the badge will appear. But you got me to the idea to modify that difference through the panel :-)
@sugplopp: There’s a character at the very beginning of the header.php which 1) shouldn’t be there and 2) forces IE into the so-called “quirks mode” (not standard compatible). Removing it should do the trick. Also, in ie.css, the “#” before “featured” is missing, which makes the heading and meta for the featured post to disappear. Gravatar support will be included in the next release.

I can see that character in ie when i choose view source, but when i look at header.php in a texteditor or in the wp-admin-interface it’s not visible. Suggestions? I added the # again at ie.css…

I can’t seem to make the images display on the front page – only in their respecitive posts, is there any option to do this?
@ghostfreak: Open index.php and change the two appearances of “the_excerpt()” to “the_content()”. Be aware that this might break the featured area – you might wanna consider changing only the latter one.

How would I go about just showing the image (and maybe resizing it?) to fit in the ‘new post’ green area?
How can I show the author of a certain post using this theme?
I managed to add the Author to the header bar, but how do I go about adding it to the main space? I can add it fine but can’t seem to get the space between the category and author (like between the date and category).
Please help!

Als eher “stiller” Leser muss ich nun mal loswerden, dass mir nicht nur Dein Theme sondern auch Dein aktuelles Design richtig gut gefällt. Schön dunkel aber trotzdem schön lesbar. Nur das Rot bei den Links, naja nicht mein Geschmack. Glückwünsch.

I really love your theme and I’m currently using it. My questions is regarding the entries in how they show up on the main index. I would like them to show in full and all I’m getting are summaries. I’m not sure what in the index.php page I need to change or delete to get the posts to show up in full view. Any help? Thank you!
In index.php, there’s the phrase “the_excerpt()” two times – first one for the featured post, latter one for all other posts. Change either or both to “the_content()” and you’re fine.

Hi, I would like the featured post to remain constant on top. One way this could be done is by editing the timestamp to be at the end of the year or end of next year. However, this theme does not recognize the post if you edit the timestamp to anything in the future. Any suggestions to keep a particular post always as the featured post?
If I wanted to take off the green ‘featured post” bar on the front page, what would I do?
I’d like the front page to look the same as the interior pages.
I’m trying to make the site look like a static site.

Heir open index.php and delete lines 3 – 16. This will remove the green bar at the top.
What about the license of the theme? Can we modify it ?

I’m trying to make it work on my personal site at davidrosam.com, but find that links in posts are only live in the individual post archive – not on the main blog page, or in the category or month archive. Also the [...] in the green panel, when it appears, presumably should be a link, but isn’t, so the reader can’t read the rest of the post!
Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Very nice theme but it does not work on my wordpress install. Each time I activate this theme, all goes blank and I do not know why. The only way to revert back the change is to manually change some field data in the mysql database. I am using lastest version of wordpress 2.2 on apache. If some people have a suggestion for me …

Is there any way to get formatting to show up on the front page? Italics, links, and images don’t show up on the main page, only on the pages for each individual post. Is there any way to fix this?

“Wow, was für ein Klasse Theme” war einer meiner ersten Gedanken, als ich gestern auf diese Seite gestoßen bin. Schade, dass der Download nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich würde meinen Blog gerne einmal mit diesem Layout sehen.
