Finde ich cool nur egal wo ich das hin tu dann kann ich nicht die position ändern es geht auch nicht mit css kann aber auch an meine nicht besonders guten css kenntnissen liegen. Als vorschlag noch kann hätte ich das mann die ausgabe der kommentare irgentwie ändern könnte und wenn ichs schon dabei bin wenn du gerade so in plugin laune bin könntest du nicht ein plugin aus deinem Kommentar-Preview machen?
Ausgabe der Kommentare wird in jedem Fall noch eingebaut – ich wollte einfach nur schonmal so eine Art Preview zum Download bereit stellen, um die Kernfunktionalität zu testen.
Plugin aus dem Kommentar-Preview… das wiederum könnte richtig schwer werden :-) Na mal sehen was sich da machen lässt.

The statement looks good to me. It could be because of a new database structure in WP 2.1, I’ll have a look into that.
When I activate the plugin, my page will not load. I get an error regarding functions.php. Is PHP5 required for this plugin to work? I’m using WordPress 2.0.5 with PHP4.
Should not, as there are no functions used that we’re introduced in PHP5 – but I’ll check it. Could you provide the error message?
Edit: It’s not PHP4 that produces the error. But it could be that there are no values stored in the database. The critical one is “Template”, which should be single.php in most cases. Is your server a windows machine?
I’ve changed the way how the plugin behaves after activating it. However, you should definetely check the options page for values.
Hi Jeriko, cooles Plugin. Leider habe ich auch das obige Problem. Das Komische ist allerings, das meine lokale WP-Installation problemlos mit deinem Plugin arbeitet. Auf meiner Seite gibt es leider folgenden Fehler:

The plugin works ok. Is there anyway to:
- Get the author name in the page title e.g. ‘All comments by Everton’
- Fix the 404 error I’m getting. All the page is being displayed, I think the url is causing WP to send a 404 response for the pages.

Can you tell me how you’ve formatted your live comment preview so that it shows the avatar/gravatar and shows the comment with the other comments? It looks brilliant!

The MySQL error was caused if the version was prior to 4.1. Download the new version 0.3 to get a workaround.
Everton, your ideas are next. As for the comment preview, I made a rather lengthy article, in german though. But I’ll see what I can do :-)
Upgrading to 0.3 fixed the error I had before (so my blog loads OK with VAC enabled), but when I click on “View all comments for XXXX”, I get a 404 error.
It does work as advertised :-).
Hi Jeriko. I installed VAC 0.1 which I downloaded last week. Running WP 2.0.6. I encountered a fatal issue with it, described in this WP Support thread – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/76388?replies=4
I’ve just noticed that the latest version of VAC is now 0.3. I’d like to try it again . First, though, any thoughts on the error I described. Fixed in this latest version?
Should be. The error mentioned is caused if the template file is not available. What’s strange about this is the fact that you’re using K2 which does have a single.php (which was needed in 0.1). However, since 0.2, there’s an option panel available to choose a different template, in case you need it. Just give it a try :-)

There is a bug in the current version of vac.php that causes the STRONG tag not to be closed. Similarly, the trailing percent sign in the date variable is missing.

Sehr nettes Plugin, leider habe ich das Problem, daß Besucher mit dem IE (7) beim Aufruf der Kommentarseite nur die Standard 404 Fehlerseite des IE angezeigt kriegen statt des Kommentare. Unter FF funktioniert es jedoch.
Hast du eine Ahnung, woran das liegen könnte?

Eine Sache. Ich möchte die Kommentare nicht in chronologischer Reihenfolge, sondern die neuesten ganz oben haben. Was muss ich machen?
In der Datei vac-template.php in Zeile 41 und 50 hinter comment_ID noch ein DESC setzen, dann wirds andersum sortiert.
Hallo Jeriko – ein interessantes Plugin. Folgende Fehler bei mir:
View all comments from Autorname wird nicht in Deutsch angzeigt. Woran liegt das? Kann man das mit dem DESC in die Options-Page mit einbauen?
Sicher, die Ausgabe dazu steht in der Datei vac.php, Zeile 139. Einfach den eigenen Wünschen anpassen.
