Stand up against Nazis

I mean, literally. Let me explain: Yesterday night, I was out to a gas station that’s open for 24/7, the only one in this town, to buy a pack of cigarettes. Just as I wanted to leave the station, some of those Nazi fuckheads were entering the station to buy some alcohol, as they were shouting all the time. I know that the cashier is an Indian, so I thought it might be a good idea to stay as long as they’re in, just in case they want to make trouble.

And oh boy was I right. Not only did they attacked the cashier verbally, they also tried to steal some alcohol. I blocked the entry door and told them what I had to say. I won’t repeat it here, but it wasn’t friendly at all, that’s for sure. In the end, I got punched in the face and in the stomach.

And you know what? I can live with it. In fact, I’m happy with it. I don’t expect from anyone to raise their voice against six other guys, if there’s the possibility of getting attacked, but I expect it from me. I can’t live with those scumbags, and whenever possible, I tell them what I think about them. What I do expect from others is not to look away. There were people crossing the station, they saw what’s going on there, they crossed the streets and looked away. The magic word is courage. If we don’t have courage, then they will take overhand somewhere in the future.

As a coincidence, Johnny made a posting about a promo action called Kein Bock auf Nazis. They’re producing a free DVD that can be ordered on their website as well as downloaded sometime next week. If you’re capable of understanding german, then you should download it and give it to your friends or anyone else. Show the people that you don’t like Nazis. It’s one small action that can mage a huge difference.

Oh, and by the way, since I had the Nazi’s attention as a punching bag, the police had enough time to arrive at the station, as they were called by the cashier.
