Level of CSS Knowledge

I’ve stumbled upon Emil Stenströms article Levels of CSS knowledge, which was quite entertaining to read, since it covers my development in CSS quite well.

I agree in almost every part with him, Level 2 are definetely the most dangerous guys (take disney.com for example, they moved back(!) to a table-based layout), as these are the people, who often sit in positions where they can decide what to do and what not. These are the people that should be reached and be convinced, that working well with CSS does indeed have advantages.

As for me, I stepped through every level except 4 (those ID- and class-names look familiar though, some sort of Fireworks exporting…) and 0 (I started with this stuff when Valve wasn’t even founded…) and I consider myself now somewhere between 5 and 6. I may not have that great impact on other people, but I’ll share my knowledge whereever I can. But forget about the book, I’m too lazy ;-)

Nice! I guess I’m a level 5. I don’t really care at level 6. I am not really a ‘factual’ guy anyway. I use whatever I know works in all browsers and I don’t really care which parts of that are CSS 1, 2 or 3 really.
